Family life changes quickly, and photographs help you hold onto the moments that feel real. As a family photographer in Aberystwyth, I create relaxed, natural portraits that show connection rather than perfect posing.
You can choose a session in the studio for a calm, styled look or enjoy outdoor photography for a warm, lifestyle feel with plenty of movement. Both options focus on simple styling, genuine interaction and images that will look beautiful in your home.
What to expect on your family shoot
Before your family session, we can chat by phone or video to go through styling, colours, what to wear and any questions you may have. I am a family photographer in Aberystwyth specialising in relaxed, natural portraits that feel warm and genuine. The focus is always on helping you feel comfortable, especially if you have young children or are unsure what to expect.
The aim is to keep everything simple and enjoyable, so you arrive feeling prepared and relaxed, knowing that every detail is taken care of and you will be guided throughout.
During the shoot
A family session usually lasts 1 to 2 hours. There is no rush. You will be guided through simple, natural interactions with plenty of time for children to settle, explore or take a break.
Each session is planned in advance with relaxed styling and a clear approach that keeps everything calm and enjoyable. You are welcome to include parents, children or extended family, and the focus will always be on genuine connection.
After your Family shoot
Your family images are carefully finished after your session. I select the strongest photographs and edit them with attention to detail, natural tones and a polished yet natural look. Depending on your chosen collection, the images will be lightly or fully hand edited.
Within 3 to 6 weeks, you receive a private online gallery where you can view your photographs, download them and choose any prints or products you would like for your home.

A £99 booking fee secures your session date and is fully credited towards your chosen package.
